Let's all breath a collective sigh of relief. The farce that pretends to make documentaries has received a complete shun by the Motion Picture Acadamy. Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 received zero nominations for the 2004 Oscars.
Not that I really give a flip about the Oscars, but it is nice to see them do something right from time to time.

AMEN TO THAT!!!!! Michael Moore is the biggest embarassment to the state of Michigan that we have ever had and he needs to be stopped! What a waste of human! Thanks for your observation, it is right on target.

Well, I guess I can't really comment directly to Farenheit 9/11, because I haven't seen it yet.
I did see "Bowling for Columbine."
I think it had some truth to it, some utter B.S. to it, some genuinly funny moments and some offensive moments.
I supsect the same is true for Farenheit 9/11.
I think you have to approach this guy's work the same way you would, say, Rush Limbaugh. With a clear undersanding from the get-go that Moore and Limbaugh have pre-concived agendas, and therefore aren't going to stick to the established standards of honest debate, objective evidence and logic.
As for Michael Moore "needing to be stopped." Well, no thanks. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but things like freedom of speech and expression are important to me.
